Overall, I would consider the Best Western a “no-frills” budget friendly hotel, though they do have an indoor pool and bathtubs in each room (which can sometimes be difficult to find!)
This Homewood Suites hotel by Hilton is located in the iconic Brickell neighborhood, on the edge of downtown Miami.
The hotel partners with a third party to book cruise port shuttles for guests. The price starts at $10 per person. The hotel features a pool with a view of the Miami skyline and complimentary breakfast. Each suite comes with a kitchenette.
The Hampton Inn & Suites in the Brickell neighborhood is a highly-rated budget-friendly Miami hotel with a cruise shuttle. The hotel partners with a third-party shuttle company and charges $8 per person for a one-way ride to the port. Children under 6 ride free!

The Hampton Inn Miami Airport East is a Miami airport hotel with a cruise package. The pack and sail package enables customers to park at the hotel for up to seven nights during their cruise. The package also includes one-way transportation to the cruise port for two people and free breakfast.
A roundtrip airport shuttle is also available at the Hampton Inn, and the hotel continently features laundry services.

The Coral Way Trolley provides free transportation directly to PortMiami. The trolley stops near Terminals C, D, E, F, G, and V. Trolleys don’t leave at any set time, but the City of Miami’s Trolley Tracker online tool allows you to see each trolley’s live location.
In general, you can expect trolleys to show up every 15-30 minutes or so. If you have some flexibility and are looking for a budget-friendly transportation option, check out these hotel that are located directly along the Coral Way Trolley route.

Just an eight minute walk from the turquoise blue bay and a five minute drive from Port of Miami, CitizenM Worldcenter Hotel is another excellent mid-range hotel for cruisers.
Adorned with eclectic decor, CitizenM features several hangouts, including a sundeck, rooftop gym and bar, and a restaurant. And of course, you can’t miss the hotel’s gorgeous pool!
Cheap Hotels Near Miami Port
The Holiday Inn Port of Miami-Downtown is one of the closest hotels to the Port of Miami. This makes it a convenient place to stay in Miami the night before a cruise.
Although the Holiday Inn does not have a shuttle service, they can arrange transportation to Port Miami for about $6 per person for a minimum of four people. Be sure to arrange your transportation to the port at check-in.
Alternatively, you can take an Uber or taxi (for the mere 3-minute drive) or catch the free Coral Way trolley one block away (if you can carry your luggage that far).
The hotel is across the street from the Bayside Marketplace, a mall that is popular amongst cruisers. It’s a great place to buy last-minute supplies before sailing, or grab a drink and bite to eat.
