Overall, I would consider the Best Western a “no-frills” budget friendly hotel, though they do have an indoor pool and bathtubs in each room (which can sometimes be difficult to find!)

This Homewood Suites hotel by Hilton is located in the iconic Brickell neighborhood, on the edge of downtown Miami.

The Coral Way Trolley provides free transportation directly to PortMiami. The trolley stops near Terminals C, D, E, F, G, and V. Trolleys don’t leave at any set time, but the City of Miami’s Trolley Tracker online tool allows you to see each trolley’s live location.
In general, you can expect trolleys to show up every 15-30 minutes or so. If you have some flexibility and are looking for a budget-friendly transportation option, check out these hotel that are located directly along the Coral Way Trolley route.

The Holiday Inn Port of Miami-Downtown is one of the closest hotels to the Port of Miami. This makes it a convenient place to stay in Miami the night before a cruise.
Although the Holiday Inn does not have a shuttle service, they can arrange transportation to Port Miami for about $6 per person for a minimum of four people. Be sure to arrange your transportation to the port at check-in.
Alternatively, you can take an Uber or taxi (for the mere 3-minute drive) or catch the free Coral Way trolley one block away (if you can carry your luggage that far).
The hotel is across the street from the Bayside Marketplace, a mall that is popular amongst cruisers. It’s a great place to buy last-minute supplies before sailing, or grab a drink and bite to eat.
